United Robotics Group is proud to participate in the inaugural "pilot" edition of the NAO Challenge in France, an exciting robotics programming competition. In partnership with the League of Education of Nouvelle Aquitaine, supported by the National Institute of Professorship and Education and the Bordeaux Academy, we present this cooperative and educational competition aimed at enriching the robotics knowledge of middle and high school students in the Bordeaux region.
The NAO Challenge provides teachers and students with a unique opportunity to explore the exciting aspects of robotics programming using our humanoid robots, Pepper and NAO. Through these educational tools, participating teams will have access to specially designed training courses to tackle the challenges of the NAO Challenge.
Teams from the United Robotics Group will also participate in the RoboCup Junior finals to be held in Bordeaux on May 25 and 26. This internationally renowned event will pit the best young talents in junior robotics against each other, providing an exceptional platform to showcase the achievements and skills acquired during the NAO Challenge.
Beyond programming and robotics, the NAO Challenge and participation in RoboCup Junior aim to develop essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. These skills are crucial in preparing young people to tackle the challenges of tomorrow in an ever-changing world.
By collaborating with educational institutions and organizations, United Robotics Group is committed to promoting learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through innovative initiatives such as the NAO Challenge. Our goal is to inspire and support teachers and students in their journey of learning new technologies.
